Temporal aspects of High Fidelity Simulations analyzed while a simulation is running through the capacity offered by Intel® Optane™ memory. This is a new capability demonstrated for the first time at SC’20. An Intel® HPC + Intel® Optane™ HW Solution, in conjunction with oneAPI Rendering Toolkit’s OSPRay incorporated into ParaView 5.9, enables OpenFOAM Fluid flow simulations to run while simultaneously visualizing and performing temporal analysis of the data. Observe the OpenFOAM Fluid flow from a ship Propeller running with simultaneous visualization providing Fast Forward, Reverse, Zoom, Spin in 3D, in conjunction with instant-replay and slow-motion view capability. The attractive price performance ratio of Intel Optane enables scientists to work with extremely large volumes of data leading to new discoveries.
