Hawking Center for Theoretical Cosmology New Rocketed Black Hole Gravitational Wave Discoveries via ParaView v5.9 with Intel OSPRay

New Black Hole Scenario discoveries made by the Stephen Hawking Center for Theoretical Cosmology are demonstrated using Intel® OSPRay, Intel® Embree, and Intel® Open VKL on an Intel HPC platform. Hot off the press Rocketed Black Hole Merger scientific datasets are featured. Due to size, spin and other factors, some black holes while merging radiate gravitational energy particularly strongly in one direction, causing the resulting merged black hole to shoot off in the opposite direction, just like a rocket at ignition. Since LIGO measures gravitational waves to detect such events, visualizing the wave patterns are critical to proving the theory. The visualizations are impressive and fascinating.
